By-products such as soap stock, deodoriser distillate oil and waste clay are generated in the process of oil refining. Yihai Kerry uses green technology to process such by-products into basic oleochemicals such as fatty acid and glycerin, which serve as high-quality raw materials for downstream fine chemicals. For deodoriser distillate oil, Yihai Kerry has independently developed a process capable of extracting high-purity natural vitamin E and phytosterols, important raw materials for producing high-end nutrients, and to produce biodiesel.
